Hi,

I am the fundraising events cordinator for a wonderful non-profit environmental organization on the south coast. We are currently setting up several fundraising events in the coming months starting with this hike-a-thon. The hike-a-thon will consist of several hikes including some into Big Basin State Park. Some of the shorter hikes will be guided so you can learn about the area while hiking.
We are very community minded and love getting locals from all over the bay area involved.
Our mission is to set up a field research station located along the Gazos Creek, where researchers can work along side students providing a great learning experiance while real research can be done.
We also schedule field lecture series where locals can learn about flora, wildlife and geology.
