I just hiked in Briones on Monday and even got hailed on and mud was definitely a factor on the trails. Bring boots, something to put on the seat of your car and your sense of balance and you'll be alright.

Does anybody have suggestions for a good place to hike where it won't be too muddy after the rains tomorrow. My first thought was Land's End coz it's high & sandy but my friend wants something more exotic, maybe in Marin. Any ideas?

Also while we're on the topic, what are people's favorite hikes in the rain?

thx
