Hi hikers: reading posts I can see there are some extremely knowledgeable folks out there,....and I am moving to a new area so I am losing the "backyard" I know like the palm of my hand (Napa Valley).
Anyone familiar with hikes around the Healdsburg area? I know from online there are lots of spots to check out. I am also a solo hiker so without good familiarity of the area want to know if there are spots its great and fine to set out on one's own and other's where I shouldn't.
Coastal, hills, creeks, etc. I love all terrain.
Thank You! -Rhea

Fri, July 27, 2007 - 1:51 PMThere's Cow Mountain in Ukiah - I haven't been, but here it is

There's also Annadel in Santa Rosa. I've been going there quite a bit lately and I like it a lot. You can park at the trailhead just outside of the entrance to Spring Lake park, so you don't need to pay the parking fees.
