Gonna hike up that ridge near Lexington Reservoir (Los Gatos) and see what we can see.
About ten miles.
Limekiln trail to Kennedy Trail to Priest Rock Trail. A while back one of those trails was closed--if it still is, we'll make it an out and back of about the same length.

I highly recommend a hike with a view! Arnold's Muir Beach jaunt should be smashing as I suspect this Los Gatos hike of mine will be, too... -

I don't think Rick quite qualifies as random, but that Upstate New Yorker with the uphill-downhill play-by-play ("I thought this part was flat oh here it comes, no no, up up we go, Ha ha, maybe heres the flat part yeah yeah see, oh NO no its down baby down maybe up here. Just like in Tommy Boy. Have you guys seen that Kurt Russell movie with the guy and the thing...? Oh HEY here's the fla-- no no not yet Ha ha..."). Priceless.

We'll have to do another hike down south again sometime soon. We did manage to see quite a few snakes too! That was neat. And yeah, I'm pretty sore too. Great hike! -
