Hey!
If you'd like to join us for a rare opportunity to hike an all-downhill (or nearly all--see below) route from Mt Tam's East Peak to Stinson Beach, please RSVP soon and let us know if you can drive! We need twice as much car space as we have hikers, of course...Speak up soon so we can work all this out...

Cheers!

:)
Mike

The Beach and the Forest III
Mt Tam and Stinson Beach (Marin Headlands)
3.2, 10 or 13 Miles (Your choice!)
What could be cooler than hiking from a fabulous Bay Area Summit to the beach?!
For those who wish to do the 13 mile grand tour, we will park a car or two at Stinson Beach at 9am and then drive back to the Mountain Home Inn to depart on foot at 9:30am, climbing 3 steep miles to the East Peak of Mount Tam via the Hoo Koo Ee Koo and Vic Haun Trails.
For the 10 Mile hike, join us at the East Peak at 11am when we depart to head down the Fern Creek Trail to the Nora Trail to the Matt Davis Trail to Pantoll Station.
For the 3.2 miler, join us at Pantoll Station at 2pm and we'll hike on down to the beach.
The map is at the bottom of this PDF.

Please RSVP particularly soon if you're interested in this one especially, and let me know which version appeals!
